You are invited to join us at Sweet River Farm for an incredible and hands-on Sourdough Workshop taught by the amazing baker, Crystal Clock! Get ready to dive into the exciting and delicious world of sourdough baking. Together, we'll explore everything from creating and nurturing sourdough starters to crafting delicious and golden-brown loaves of gut healthy sourdough bread. You'll have the unique opportunity to actively engage in every step of the dough-making process, ensuring you leave with the skills and confidence to recreate the magic at home. Plus, you'll receive a mason jar of active sourdough starter to keep the magic going in your own kitchen, along with a freshly baked loaf to take home and enjoy! As if that wasn't enough, you'll also get a fantastic folder jam-packed with Crystals favorite recipes, detailed step-by-step instructions, and all the class materials you'll need for endless baking adventures. What better way to learn the old-time art of wild yeast then at a 1700's farm? Come immerse yourself in the peaceful farm environment while you master your new baking skill. This workshop is designed to be a fantastic and rewarding morning of sourdough bread-making that you won’t soon forget. Join us and let the artistry of sourdough bring joy and deliciousness to your life! Age limit: 15 + What to wear and expect on the Farm: The workshop will be held inside in our barn or outside under a tent if weather permits. We recommend wearing appropriate attire for outdoors and dress in layers as we will not be in a heated or air-conditioned environment. We welcome you to pet our cows and goats, closed toed shoes are required to be around the animals. We have free ranging chickens, loud geese, drooly cows that like to lick, animal noises and barn birds. If any of this doesn't sound enjoyable this class might not be for you and that's okay. We aren't for everyone! Cancelations: Please read our full cancelation policy. Cancelations will not be refunded. Weather- Classes/workshops that fall on days with inclement weather will be rescheduled to a later date.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations: Cancellation must be made at least 24 hours prior to the workshop start time in order to receive a refund. Cancelations without 24 hour notice will result in a forfeiture of your payment and will be considered a donation to our farm. Sweet River Farm Cancellations: If we need to cancel the workshop for any reason you will receive a full refund.
