Thank you for signing up to receive our Sweet River Farm, LLC newsletter. I hope this finds you feeling well and warm. It has been hard to keep warm while doing barn chores as I know many of you are in the same boat or is it same barn? Either way, I hope this finds you cuddled up in front of the woodstove with a hot cup of tea and a furry animal in your lap.

I have been "wintering" for a month now and enjoying the slower, quiet and restful place I am in. Please read Decembers blog post Slowing down and wintering if you haven't already. I also just posted Wintering means Simple Living on the blog.

My month of wintering has been rather uneventful, I’m trying to figure out if I am disappointed in that? I had pictured in my mind there would be great turmoil followed by a mighty revelation. So far, no turmoil. Though I did carry into the house my milking stool and Promises bell last week, if you are new here Promise was our cow.
